(This just in: Dolly is now officially a hurricane.)
So, a tropical storm-about-to-become-hurricane named Dolly is sitting out in the Gulf, menacing a wide area from South Texas to northern Mexico. Right now it’s predicted to land as a Category 1 tomorrow. But at the moment, it’s slowed down and is sitting out there in the Gulf, churning away.
Luckily, in today’s world, you don’t have to wonder what’s going on. You can watch for yourself! Check out these links to some really cool webcams where you can watch what’s happening live.
Matagorda Texas – This one could be especially interesting, as it shows a group of boats docked rather than just the ocean. Might have some interesting shots in the next 24 hours or more.
Downtown Corpus Christi – Shows the Bayfront, with cars parked outside.
South Padre – Picture refreshed every 10 seconds
Live Weather Station Update – Brownsville
I’ll post more links as I find them, and I’ll keep interesting information updated on this blog!
Really cool links. Thanks for those, I’ll check them out!
